OK, I stole the idea from the YJ forum but it's a great idea so let this thread be an inspiration for all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs to our TJ's! :D

Personally, I installed my trusty Uniden CB into my new Rubicon.

I bought a new tire carrier for my TJ, an Or-fab carrier including mounts for two Jerry cans. The instructions say it should take only about 2 hrs to install, well I'm here to tell you that after 8 hrs I had to quit (my body quit on me), I will try to resume tomorrow. But the carrier is going together fine, all the pieces fit nicely. I'll post some pictures when I'm done.

Happy Trails!

neZZer, SC has some of the cheapest gas in the country, :).
Here's the pictures from Gulches.

Had a blast with my dad!
Your jeep looks great! Looks like some good wheeling in SC. Next time you should unhook your swaybar and approach this obstacle the same way and be amazed at the improvement in offroad performance. Back in the day I thought "It can't make that much difference" but boy does it!

Scrubbed down the inside took apart most of the interior panels, cleaned all of the glass inside and out and then.... put the hardtop back on. :( I am moving next weekend and have no better way to move the top to the new place except on the jeep, and in the meantime I have to pack up my entire shop (garage) and cannot have the top in the way.

I attempted to change the bolts with clevis pins earlier this week to get ready, but had no luck. New approach is 4 straight days of PB blaster then impact wrench on the 5th. :2thumbsup:. It would have helped a ton on the off camber course, I had to back out of it because it kept getting deeper.

Installed my BB, JKS discos, and speedo gear. Then spent an hour and a half waiting at Merchant's for the tires to get mounted and the suspension aligned (apparently it was pretty bad).
