No guy's it's not what you think. :) I was on my way to work at about 8:15 in the morning running a little late, so I was running a little fast. Not paying too much attention to oncoming traffic I look over and saw flashing light, it was a sheriff. I knew I was speeding so I pulled over and waited for him to turn around. He came up to my Jeep and said, "I pulled you over because you were speeding, I clocked you at 71." I said, "I know, I was going too fast."
I gave him my license and registration, and expired proof of insurance. I didn't even have the most current one with me. He asked where I was going, I told him I was going to work and I was a registered nurse for___________. He walked back to his car and I knew for sure I deserved a ticket, the roads were snow covered, I knew I was going to fast and it was a crappy road anyways. About 10 minutes later he came back with a ticket and said I gave you a warning on the speed and a "fix it ticket" for the no proof of insurance. So basically I have to take my current proof of insurance to the court house and it will be waived. He also applogized for taking so long, stating that the radio didn't work and he had to use his cell phone to get my info back. WOW! I told him very politely thank you and I really appreciated him giving me a break on the speeding. He definatley gave me alot more respect for the local sheriff. I would not of even complained if I got the ticket I deserved, but he saw fit to give me a whale of a break! Thank you officer :)

Last time I got pulled over for a one day expired registration, and my current insurance was sitting on my desk at home. I got no breaks on either of them.

I resent most women cops I have come into contact with. As a majority, they have been very unprofessional

What'd they do?
A Lot of them act like they have this big chip on their shoulders just for being female and being a cop. Same with female flight instructors.

As many times as I’ve been pulled over, I’ve only been given a warning once. Every ticket I’ve ever got I’ve taken to court and won. Mostly b/c the cop never showed up or he was to stupid to prove he was right and I was wrong (even though I really was wrong).
