Course was pretty hardcore. The extreme course had a 37" tire minimun and Was taking out some pretty built rigs all weekend. And even right before I went, the Rebel Offroad jk on 40s had to be pulled through just the rock course a few times and didn't even bother trying to do the rest.
I think out of the 1400 Jeeps that were at the show, less then two dozen of us actually made it to the end of that course
looking forward to pictures! i got all excited when this thread was updated and then all it says "wheeling tomorrow" but I cannot wait for some updates!
Not really much for updates. The next big things will be some seats and harnesses, and probably a rear sway bar of some sort. And re-tubbing the rear for the 37s because I currently just extended my bumpstops.
But wheeling yesterday has forced be to do something about my fuel system. Any time I stand the front end up I start bogging out and stalling. Also gets that way when it's on it's side, which can be very frustrating. It only does this when I'm below a half tank of gas, and I don't want to always have to have my tank full anytime I want to take the hard lines. So a guy I was wheeling with talked me into putting foam in the gas tank, so well see how that works out.
otherwise the Jeep is performing awesome, was out with a few buggies on 40"+ tires yesterday and was able to hang. so I'm hesitant to change anything suspension wise.
Motor is on it's way out though. cylinder one is dead at low rpms, and blow by is terrible. Also when engine braking while decending hills I'm just pouring out blue smoke. 267,000 miles.
I got a few posing pictures from yesterday that I'll upload, hoping that some videos start popping up as there were a few cameras out.
Here's one pic I had. Just posing mid line.
