Hello,
I'm in the process of setting in the engine/trans/transfer case to find the exact location to weld the motor mounts (going from I-4 to I-6). I have an AW-4 and 231 TC and one thing that I noticed when setting everything in is that the drive shaft does not appear to line up exactly with the output of the TC. Is this a problem? Rear axle is a Ford 8.8 and I have an SYE and CV drive shaft.
I didn't notice it much before and it's definitely not an extreme angle or anything, but wasn't sure when I set everything in if I need to adjust the tranny mount to get it to point more at the yoke of the 8.8. I'm assuming I don't because of the CV but wanted to make sure before I have everything welded and bolted in place.
Thanks!
