Hey all, sorry for the non tech sorta stupid question but I was wondering how many of you have tried some of the Ebay replacement headlights for the WJ? I was looking for pictures to see what all the different ones look like. Anyone have a preference? I'm sure certain ones are better quality than others, my only experience with ebay headlights were of less than desired quality.

Ones I got are by Eagle Eye. Had the choice of amber or clear signal lights. Went with the clear as I think it looks better. Worked great for my retrofit.

I did projectors several years ago with HID's and they are amazing, I cant find the projectors I have anyplace anymore, and its hard to find housings with projectors that are HID compatible, best to build your own.

FWIW, there are a ton of projector housings out there that are designed for H4 bulbs and whatnot, and they also work very well with a clear clean light output with a sharp cutoff.

just my .02 !

I hate it when people bag on 'ebay' brands... of any product. Ebay is not a brand. You can buy Rolex or cheap chinese knockoffs. Neither is an Ebay Brand...

Anyways, I bought a Spyder HID set from Ebay seller bdliquidator and am very happy with them. Have a thread here.

I replaced the badly scratched up headlights with a set off an eBay seller. While they looked great and were certainly inexpensive, when I turned them on, the light pattern wasn't exactly uniform. Besides dark spots at the bottom there were also shadow lines in the main viewing area. Also the right side adjustment wheel broke after 1/2 a turn. Had to pull them out and adjust by hand until the beam was where it needed to be. I'm sending them back for a refund.

How is the beam pattern of the ones you guys have gotten? The ones I got would drive me nuts at night.

Here'a a pic of the beam pattern:
