Patriot starting & shifting problems

I have a 2012 Patriot 2.0L I-4 cyl. It has 14,000 miles on it. Sometimes when I try to start my jeep, it is delayed and struggles to start up. I have to try it a two or three times before it sounds normal. Does anyone else experience this?

Also, when I'm driving it feels like it is going to stall. This mostly happens when I'm in school zones or neighborhoods going between 20 and 30 mph. It jerks lightly before it figures out what shift to be in.

I have an appointment with the service department at my dealership on Saturday but I'm worried they are going to tell me that they can't find anything.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I had the slow start up issues and dealership thought I was making it up. So I had to live with it basically. Only happens once in a blue moon. Piggy backing on the previous post, the jerky behavior is the CVT, it's sensitive so you'll learn how to press on the accelerator to lesson this feel or just get used to it. Did read on here that some people received software updates which lessened this jerky feel.

Yea I have a post on here already about my terrible CVT experience and jerky feel. It has actually happened about 6-8 times now where I have had the tranny go into neutral while driving and has almost caused me to be in a few accidents. I have had it in the dealer 3 times already for "software" TCM updates and it goes away for a bit and then bam out of no where it happens again. Finally last week it happened 3 times in the span of 4 days on the highway at 70 mph and I almost got taken out twice by tractor trailers. I have had it to the dealer and the transmission light came on during my travel to the dealer and they determined a connector plug and Transmission Speed Control Sensor had gone bad and basically when the transmission cant sense what speed it is traveling it simply puts the car into neutral to protect you from burning up the CVT, which I get that, however when you have cruise control on at 65-70 mph in traffic that gets to be a deadly situation in my opinion. I'll update how things go as I am taking it in Friday morning to get all work completed as well as Safety Recall Software Update for the Airbags.
