Traded in a 2004 GTO 6 speed the other day for a 2010 Jeep Liberty Limited with 17k Miles. (Selec trac II)(Cobalt ss before gto)I loved the gto but living in michigan i needed a more all around car. I love everything about the Jeep. Its Great! I have a few plans for her, maybe a mild lift and maybe some wheels and 31" tires. What are the top lift kits around 2-3"? Thanks!

Yep you don't want that lift
Go OME and be done
check out jeepinbyal for lifts from 750 on up
PLUS it really does help to read through the posts on here and LOSTJEEPS, then you'll learn what others have done and the best bang for your buck

Go to jeepinbyal
look under KKs
and there you go

OME 1.50" lift kit KK
Regular Price: $795.82
Special Price: $750.00

Of course we all know you get more than 1.5 inches

Listen to Tom, he is the lift reverend. Anyways, if you use AtTheHelm's list, you can do a clevis lift and get the jba 1/4" strut spacer plate and get 3-3.5" of lift. Then for tires, most go with 245/75r16. It's pretty much the biggest you can go without rub and needing to regear.

Oh that was a pretty nice GTO you had there.

Anyone know which steel wheels those are?

You don't have to use them if only going with the full spring lift, if adding the top plate and the clevis then yes its a good idea to go ahead and get the UCAs. It makes it easier to align and its a great upgrade.

My guess would be 245-75-16s on a 16 X 7 wheel with 4 inches of backspacing
or could be a 31-10.50X15 but doesn't look quite like those

Wish someone would kick that picture off of the internet
