Daystar spacer......

Ok....I know the immediate response. I'm wasting my money and they suck, but let me get your opinions. Ideally I wanted to get the full suspension lift and new tires. Due to some unexpected finances, I can't go blowing over $2k right now. However I am in need of tires and would prefer to go up to the 245's. So simple math, I can buy new stock sized rubber, then do the lift and bigger tires in a year or so and pretty much waste a good set of new tires. Or I can put on a cheap 2" daystar for now, get the bigger tires now and then perhaps do the suspension lift later on this year when finances allow.

My main concerns are there any safety concerns with the daystar and with the 2" spacer, will I fit the 245/75r16's on with no problem?

Do a OME full spring lift for 750 bucks
If you look at the cost of a Daystar
add new rear shocks since you'll need longer ones
plus you should replece the front shocks
now you're within a few bucks 150-160 of a full spring lift
Only one time to do it right
I'd rather see someone go a year unlifted than have them ride around with a crappy lift

I know tom and i agree. For starters, i didnt realize i would need new rear shocks. I plan on doing the OME lift this fall/winter the latest. But my tires will not get me through the summer. I do alot of traveling over the summer so gonna have to put new rubber on by june. OME w/ UCA's gonna run about $1200 with tax and shipping. I dont gave a problem spending the $300 for the daystar just so i can put the bigger tires on in june then come november swap it out for the OME. But cannot wait untill november to do everything. Tires wont last me that long.
