Put on my bumper today. Just need to build a bracket to hold the bulkhead npt fitting for an air coupler on the back. The led B/U lights are awesome. Hard to photo though. the light pattern on the door is about three feet from the lights. Would be great for a daily driver rear bumper to get texters attention.

I really ..... Really want a rear bumper like yours ! Nice work. I wish I had the tools to do such. I purchased the Hanson off road with pindle for my rear just haven't taken the dive to purchase the next piece yet

Diff's finally in. Shocks just sitting there to get an idea of lengths etc

Shock will bottom out before i hit the bumpstop so i need to extend the mounts :(

Shackles are mounted as per ARB instructions but clearly wont work this way.

Not only do they hit the shackle hangers they also hit the PS support.

This helps

Went fishing. The water is still ice cold. Gonna have to leave the canoe at home and take the Bass Hunter until it warms. Flipping the canoe as cold as the water is would be very bad! That said, I didn't flip it and only caught two little bass, but it still beats work anyday!

Added my ARB covers along with the 1-1/4" tie Rod and draglinks,
I had to use a Little OTC tie rod puller for the pitman arm tie rod...she came out with a Bang!
the others came out using a standard Tie rod Puller I rented....sure tighented up the steering
I lost my 1-2" of slop at the steering wheel...I'm gonna get some driveshaft U-bolts in order to add back the steering stabilizer
the u-bolts should work with the Rancho stabilizer mount that was already there with the stock tie rod.

That looks like it would work. The can holders are nicely done. I debated to do it that way but I had the confers on hand and the rubi rack was on the Jeep when I bought it. I may go that route next season if shows any cracks or bends.

The CNC machine speeds it up for sure but it is still done by the brain and hand. Looking at your build, I would say give it a try. A troch, grinder(s), welder and a drill press. And a lot of thought and reading JF threads of course.

edit: Just went to the hanson site. You could build the JC4 type for under $200 I think. Use 2x2x.188 or .25 for the main arm on the pindle and use 2x2x.120 for the frame and 1x1..090 for the rack and carriers. pick up a few diy parts and a latch or AtoZz's T handle kit and a ready cut wheel holder. Fun project.

I dove down the rabbit hole and started to sort through all the PO wire splices, wire nuts and duct tape. Next thing I knew I had the whole harness out of the wire loom tracing wires. Since the weber came in it started out as I was just going to clean up the intake and manifold and put a new gasket on before the carb install. Now it's that, nutter bypass and removal of unneeded crud and painting the manifold and intake. The original plan was to have the carb done this weekend .... now it's hopefully by the end of next weekend :)

I used the silicon and ceramic VHT paint for the manifold .... anyone else used it? It says it withstands up to 2000 degrees but I don't have high hopes. It was worth the $8 to try it I guess.

The intake is just good ol Silver engine enamel that I sprayed after using a bond treatment for the aluminum. I hope it holds but if not it can be blasted and repainted when I finally take the body off for the swap.

You diligence and extra effort to go pricing at the Hanson site has only fuel my obsession to pushing the envelope on how much I can actually I can do without formal training .... I think I'm doing pretty good ..... Giving I've only been into this jeep thing since 2009 and my car exp is limited while my fab exp was Zero...... None the less it's fun. Ill check out A to Z I'm gonna need a tube bender lol .....
