Decided to start a build thread... first I want to say why the hell didn't I own a wrangler sooner?:2thumbsup: Any how I am semi new here and hopefully can learn something new everyday, and help fellow jeepers with personal experience. My wrangler is a Daily driven 2004 tj unlimited in Solar yellow. My first mod was a hardtop then in went a bearable stereo. Since I bought it about three weeks ago I have done nothing except order piles of parts, read pages of info and meet cool new people. the list goes some thing like...

factory hardtop harness and switches
Undercover fab skids: engine, tc, and gas skid
banks monster exhaust
brown dog mml
daystar 1" bl
more steering rise
metal cloak arch front fenders and wheel wells, rears, and rocker guards
bfg km2's 33x10.5 on method racing mr301 15x7 bs 3.75

from the looks it everything is quality, waiting for mc fenders to get here tomorrow and then scuff em up and primer. My only semi complaint but i knew it was coming, the km2's actual tread width is roughly 8.5 ish wide and aired down the tire measures just under 32 inches.... any ways heres some pics.

I always end up ordering stuff from quadratec so far they haven't had me waiting for back order parts and they always match pricing and free shipping. best of all its usually two day shipping since im so close that's worth a few bucks. I just want a small heat wave so I can spray like 40's would be nice currently in the teens before windchill.

ill just do some more reading on suspension and go form their. and of course we got another winter wonder land here in erie, so I got the deck and speakers installed working on wiring up my hard top since I can leave my jeep running and heat it ha.

since its more than likely going to be my next mod... how to flex properly with out pulling a muscle? ha I know I need all new control arms and a currie anti rock setup but im talking springs?little to no lift.. ome?
I mentioned this before, but with the metalcloaks, a 1" BL, and 33s, you don't need much lift, if any. Check out Toberste's build thread (I can't link it on the app), you can see his TJ with stock suspension, 1" BL and 35s. If you really want some lift, I would go with 2" AT MOST, and a full set of quality adjustable control arms. BDS or OME both have low lift springs. But there's plenty of good info on here about that, I'm sure you'll figure it out  Just my .02....

I have been looking at ome springs don't think I have ever heard a bad thing about them but springs and disco's are a given but for best up and down travel I'm saying. Four new control arms are coming as well eventually, but what else is limiting down/up travel?

Have some good news, the mc fenders are on. And I have a few pics. Took the front sway bar off as well not a bad ride at all. Much smoother over bumps and braking and turning isnt bad at all just have to remember your driving a jeep... Weathers been super crapy and cold here so I haven't had to much time to work on it. Painted the hard top black and I took the spare of I think it looks cool
