Congrats - your jeep is just like mine_benjammin said:Just bought last Friday (3/23). This is a pic the sales guy took for their Facebook page. That's me and my little buddy, Buddy. He was with me for nearly 6 hours while I debated on a Ram 4x4 and negotiated financing. My wife hates this pic because I had a moustache, for less than a day but forever in this pic! (I had a beard over the winter and cut it all but the "stache" as a joke for a day.)
Mine came with the skid plate group. You sure yours doesn't have it? I don't know if it's an Arctic thing or if it was an add on. I'm going to do the vent visors too, tint and running boards._benjammin said:Except I see (from your profile) that you have added skid plates...I definitely want/need to do that. I'll mainly be 4-wheeling at the beach but there are some nice trails in western NC, I won't touch 'em without some under armour.
I've added mud flaps, bug/wind deflactor, and just ordered vent visors. I'll get the front windows tinted more soon too.
cheers
Thanks. And oh yeah, aired down to 18psi with new Staun deflators last night and aired up just after leaving. I got a decent 35 amp compressor but still took awhile airing up. I set the Stauns to 23 psi today/night, no problems in the sand and drive home (about 6 miles) with out airing back up.^^^Looks like a great place to be
BTW - don't forget to air down on that sand if you have a place nearby to air back up. I've seen people get bogged out in sand cause they had too much tire pressure.
Congrats on the Jeep - those Arctics are nice!
Hiya!My 2011 Liberty is set up for domestic overlanding and camping. It's a constant work in progress as it is difficult to find accessories for the KK. I've got a pair of Hella 700's on order for the front grille, and hope to add a snorkel (if I can ever find one for the KK). The trailer is made by Overland Trailers. The rooftop tent and awning are both by Camping Labs. The brush guard is made by Black Horse, and the roof rack is a Surco. Wheels are Konig Zeros, and the tires are Sumitomo Off-Road.
Looks like the new Altitude Editions! COOL!TIJKK1220 said:I find it really strange that I went through 23 pages of KK's and didn't find ONE with the same kind of grill mine has.
Not just because mine is painted though, the red on my grill is the only chrome on it. it's like it had inserts or something on them I haven't seen it on any other KK has anyone else?
It's an '08
Have the 430 Nav Radio on my Lat and I love it! Nice pictures! Enjoy.gissentml said:Hello everyone,
I just got my 2012 Latitude on April 15th. So far I love it. First mods will probably be a radio upgrade to the media center 430 and a k&n intake.
What tires are those I think I may do those wheels too procomps? Kindly let me know! ThanksMattyvac said:Without further delay...
