This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

Didn't really don anything to it, YET, I just got my first ZJ. Had a bunch of XJ's for a loooong time. So I saw this one, liked it and bought it. 1998, interior is Spotless, and everything works, has 145k on the odometer. The bad, Needs shocks, asap and something is funky with the heat, it doesn't get hot, I flushed the coolant system and the heater core, but it gets lukewarm at best, I"ll have to figure this out

Check the thermostat temp? Should be stamped right on it

Thanks, and what should be stamped on it?

Oh damn! Laredo wheels on a red limited give me a chub. That thing looks great!

As for heat, do you smell syrup from the vents at all? Mine was the same way last year and it was just because the heater core was going out.

Time for new shocks? Why not slap on a BB while you're at it?

That's a Laredo SE. They only made them in 98. It's a package that makes the Laredo a little nicer.

The blend door is somewhat of an issue on these. I'd check that. Google blend door repair and you'll be able to find replacement parts made of metal, not plastic. Luckily, ZJs without automatic climate control have a rather easy blend door to fix.

Both of those points are good to know... Going to have to look into the blend door stuff myself.

So I looked at the tires yesterday, and well there 30.5's. The listing on craigs said 32" with 3.5 inch procomp lift. So I was screwed. The lift is white and red with red springs.

ZJMTL-I don't lie, and you sounded like a prick. You have no right in making accusations like that. You don't know me. That was the best to my knowledge info.

That said, I've kind of fallen out of love with it. I think I'll sell it and get a 4Runner.

I'm not a prick, but when you post your ZJ up saying you're running 32s with a 3.5 inch lift, and you're not, I'm going to point it out. It has nothing to do with whether I know you or not, just common sense really. If I posted my ZJ and said I was running a 4.5'' lift with long arms, people would surely say something as well.

Well I haven't had it long enough to do a FULL INSPECTION. Why don't you give the benefit of a doubt before you accuse me of lying. I don't deserve it. As being new to off-roading, I would think that I could make a mistake or two before being insulted. I don't care that you said something, I welcome it when someone tries to teach me (and appreciate it), but you went about it the wrong way. Don't insult someone when your trying to help. It's bad manners.
