2 kayaks on pat?

Has anybody had any success carrying 2 kayaks on their pat using the saddle-style carriers? I know it's possible with the J-style cradles, but I'd prefer to have the kayaks sit horizontally.

Ultimately it will depend on the width of the kayaks, which I have yet to purchase, but just looking for some feedback if anyone has done it.

What size crossbars did you use?
Yakima or Thule? Malone?

The Malone SeaWing carrier looks like it would do the job, but if I'm going to buy a Thule or Yakima base rack system I'd prefer to stick with them for the kayak carrier as well, for no reason other than the ability to lock the rack and carriers with one key.

Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

I got Inno IN-FR mounts with the B117 (46") cross bars on my 09 Jeep Patriot Limited. So far they've held up nicely, and they didn't break the bank like yakima and thule will do to you. orsracksdirect.com had them for a good price. i think they throw in a free fairing if you order a whole package. oh yeah and the stays came w/ free locks! I paid about $175.

I really like way Inno's kayak carrier, it comes with cradles instead of just squishy blocks. Don't own it just heard good things.
