Just looking for some jeepers in and around Charleston, SC. Should have the jeep back down there by the spring. Want to make sure there are some people to do some wheelin with. Also, looking for some good spots. Most the spots I hit with my buddies in high school were illegal...and I don't need any trouble!
I recently came home from Afghanistan and bought a TJ. It is my second and I def would like to get involved with anyone else from the low country area that eats and breaths wranglers. Let me know if you guys still meet up!
Welcome home.
Yes, we still meet and are having our January meeting Tuesday the 10th at Sonic on Rivers Ave. If it is crappy weather or VERY cold we will be at the mexican restaurant " La Nortena" just 2 doors down.
go to www.lowcountryjeepclub.com for our site.
Hope to see you there.

Just ordered 2"BB + 2"BL for my brother's 99 Wrangler to fit a set of 33" Wild Country AT's. We'll be installing them next Saturday and then looking for some fun! Does the club still meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at that Sonic?
Yes, we do.. We had our monthly meeting 2 days ago.
I have some 2" BB kits for sale on craigslist , too bad you didn't know.
They are $75/set.
Maybe next time..
See you next month?

I am new to the forum here! I do not want to break any rules associated with the B/S/T sections of this forum. With that being said, I have something I would like to put up for sale locally. Is it possible to list it in this local forum being that it deals with local SC jeepers? I appreciate any advice that you can offer.
Our local club is getting lots of new people lately. We are happy to have new members, and no more dues. The club decided that dues are no longer needed, and our T shirt sales will more than likely sustain the club.
Even at $10 each, the club makes money.
Ollieg843, I am also on JI and can get you new jeep parts and excellent prices.
Hopefully we will see everyone at the North Charleston Sonic (Rivers Ave), March 13th..
Josh,
I plan to be there tonight around 7pm.
Glad we have another LJ in the group.
I won't bring mine, but will drive my '03 Rubicon TJ..
See you then.
What's up everyone? Been on the forum for a little while and didn't know there was a sc section. I have an 08 jk lifted on 35s and wheel as much as possible. Me and some guys wheel in sangaree. Never have had any issues except getting stuck. Lol I will be checking out the website in a little bit. Always down to meet up with new keepers.
We meet up at the cvs on 17a in summerville on Sundays at 11 when we meet. Trying to get people to meet up this weekend. Been getting good rain for some fun mudding. Hope some of you can make it.
We'll be at Sonic next month on the 10th.
Rivers Ave. Sonic April 10th @ 7pm
We are headed to URE, April 20th for the weekend, so there should be a good turnout at the meeting.
I will make sure we have some club t-shirts at the meeting too.
See y'all next month..

Really wish I could have made it out to meet you guys tonight. Have an 88 YJ that I'm having issues with. Think it's mostly carburetor related but I'm not incredibly mechanically inclined (would love to learn). Do you guys know of any shops that are good with older Jeeps? Most don't want to fool with it because it's not fuel injected. I'd like to replace the carb (already bought a weber 32/36) and do the nutter bypass. I have tools, but would need some direction to do it myself. Thanks for any help or direction that you guys could give.
For Yukon gears he charges 2300. And he does another brand for 1900. I want yukons but I think its kind of high. I have heard of some places only charging 1500 for both front and rear. I'm searching around as we speak.
I spoke with my guys yesterday. They are finishing up a job and are going to stop by my house this weekend. I will see what they charge.
Are you wanting front and rear lockers?
If you get a minute, send me part numbers of what you want. I will price them for you.
