Introducing MONSTALINER™ UV Permanent DIY Roll On Bed Liner

Hi All,

We are a new advertiser on jeepforum.com and I just want to introduce myself, our company and a very interesting new product.

My name is Eric and I have 25+ years experience in coatings manufacturing.
Our company Magnet Paints, is focused on industrial maintenance and commercial fleet refinish coatings,
epoxy and urethane concrete floor coatings and automotive restoration paints.

We are also the manufacturers of Chassis Saver™ Rust Preventive Truck & Auto Underbody Coating.
Chassis Saver is a high performance alternate to POR-15 at 45% lower cost.

For the past 5 years, our lab has been developing and fine tuning a roll on bed liner product.
The product has evolved through 3 generations of testing, development and field trials and has just been
commercialized and is available for sale.

I have personally been involved with installations on more than 20 vehicles in the last 4 years in which
my feedback and experience alone was the determining factor that the product was complete and ready for release.

Monstaliner started as a pet project. One of our employees had used a widely popular DIY bed liner on his
personal truck and was not so pleased with the outcome. He came into work one day with a mission and
for almost a year, he kept badgering the chemists in our lab to develop a better product.

One day after getting tired of listening to this guy rant, we sat down and mapped out what a
new generation do-it-yourself bed liner would have to offer to be successful. A first, we just toyed with the
project but we knew that a much better product was possible compared to those already on the market.

So here we are, very proud to present:

MONSTALINER™ High Performance DIY Roll On Bed Liner

I don't want to write a book here so I will post the web site link for all who are curious to check this out on their own time.

As an introduction special and for the rest of this month at least,
we are offering free shipping on anything sold on the web site.

Just use Promo Code "FSBL-1" when ordering either online or by phone.

Everyone, anyone... please feel free to ask any questions. I am always available to help.

Best Regards
magnetman

work with you to make something happen.

Hey I had a couple quick questions about the monstaliner roll on kit before I buy it, I plan on painting the whole exterior of my '98 grand cherokee and was wondering:

- is the material easy to wash clean after complete curing? For example, will heavy mud and stuff wash off without wear at a typical car wash?

- will the 2 gallon kit be enough to cover the whole exterior of my jeep, or would I need a little extra?

- and does everything needed for the whole process come included in the 2 gallon kit? I would only be ordering black so I wouldn't need any extra (although I'm deliberating on a hunter green color maybe...)

Thanks,

Derek

Thanks Neudiin! Good luck with the sanding...sucker some friends into helping you!
And MyZJ, I monstalined my tub forever and a day ago and monstalined lots more just a few days ago, and when I wiped the old Monsta clean with a damp cloth, you couldn't tell the difference between old and new. It cleans up well! I can't answer about the carwash though...
I haven't been in one of those in forever. I assume it would clean right up there too though. Some people with full monstalined exteriors would know!

Here are some olive drab spray pics.

This is right after it was sprayed. One tip that I can offer to anyone spraying is that plastic on the ground really sticks to your feet once you get overspray on it. So tape it to the ground. Also, the only spots that I had some light coverage which I will have to touch up is on the underside of the doors when they were laying flat.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the monstaliner. Its's very easy to spray and looks great! I can't wait to get the thing back together.

Thanks , the rolling and brushing only took about and hour to an hour and a half per coat with my little using a brush dabbing around the hinges and other tight areas and me rolling , but we spent almost the whole day prepping

i have tons more but you should be able to get a darn good idea of what a YJ will look like with OD green sprayed ML.

i don't have any pics more current than the first few in the first post. not any change in the liner. i am planing on giving it it's second coat this summer after the d60's get under there.

i can report that in the approx 7-10k i have put on the jeep since the liner job i couldn't be happier with the results. the only thing that has any rust peaking through is a few spots i knew were insufficiently prepped on the frame. they were very hard to get to and i will be stripping parts of it off to weld on braketry for when the axles go under.

Well I finished in time to make it to my family easter thing.

A few things I learned:
If you are in the south, do this in the winter. I finished the first coat, took a little over an hour, came in to use the bathroom and when I went back out, the front was dry to the touch, which is where I started. Edit: even with the heat it wasn't till I was done that the stuff in the can skinned over bad enough I didn't want to risk getting chunks in it to put a 3rd coat on the front floor boards, which there was enough left to do =) I give all the credit to Eric for his ideas on how to work with it in the heat.

Find a place to do this inside. I have specks of stuff in mine, not that I care but some people do. And if it had AC that would be nice lol

Walk around whatever you're lining and look at it from lots of angles. I would think I had covered it all, walk to the other side and see a spot I missed..grrrr lol

Monsta is a GREAT product. Eric provided great customer service. Its really easy to apply. Looks great. I will get much better pics in a day or 2 when my friends with the good camera come back into town. For now you'll have to deal with my cell phone pics =)
