Title says it all. When i am going to be in a particularly muddy spot offroading i tend to ditch my Combat boots and go barefoot on the offchance i have to get out and hook a strap.

Am i alone in doing this? I did it this past weekend while wheeling with some friends up north and got a few odd looks (then again how often do you see a goth kid up north and offroading? XD)

Same, but i'll usually wheel barefoot. I don't really wheel in mud at all anymore though.

Depends on a lot of things. Mainly on how damned hot it is.

I wheel barefoot, but when I need to spot, get out ect I always put my boots on.

Never. I have a pair of boots strictly for hiking/wheeling/outdoor hell raising. I also tend to wear the same pair of pants/shorts depending on the weather. The tub of my Jeep gets hot enough to fry and egg on during extended trail runs and wheeling barefoot would be dangerous.

Never. I've got a couple pairs of **** kickers that I wear when I'm wheeling. Some new balance cross countries for the summer, and a pair of timberlands for the winter, plus a pair of insulated lacrosse knee waders in case I have to stand around in the snow.

Depends, I might be driving barefoot, but I will not get out of my Jeep without boots on most of the time. I almost always stick it out and wear pants when I wheel/wrench year round. But I have boots I wear for work and everything else. If those get soaked, i've got plenty of pairs of old tennis shoes.

When I am not out wheeling, I am typically in flip flops. When I go wheeling, I have a pair of shoes that I wear. I hate getting out of the Jeep and stepping on little pebbles. Damn things are almost as bad a legos. I also don't like wearing flip flops on the trail for that and climbing around on rocks with flip flops on just gets on my nerves.
