Copied from the Nor Cal thread and started here to keep from getting lost in the bigger thread.
Let's do a meet and greet. We haven't done one in a while. I'm shooting for May 7th, at the Round Table Pizza at Antelope and I80, at 1PM. It's easy freeway access, and plenty of parking. Plus they serve beer. I just called them to see if they're open. Let's get an idea of who's going to try and make it, and I'll start a thread, both here and on the Ramblers site. Remember, we're not trying to get close to any one person's house (Connor), but trying to make it easier for everyone.
Well so far we have TWDJ, Sccafire, and me. Anyone else?
Nothing is written in stone, so if you would like to change the time, date, or place, go ahead and ask.
Ok, a couple of more maybes. Sure Ron, kids too...as long as they're not the kind that go screaming up and down the restaurant. If your wife does that, well...
Wish I could make it but I just pulled my jeep out of the snow in my driveway yesterday and have yet to renew tags. Will do my best to meet up with y'all this summer though! -SJM
Good News...I'll be there! Bad News... Just found out how bent my front axle housing is -2.2 camber. Gotta figure out a way to get the axle pulled stripped and to Extream Gear Offroad for straightning. Does anyone have a D30 laying around I could use as a roller? I'd even throw a 2wd Cherokee front beam under it for a couple weeks.

While the axle is there are you doing any upgrades to the axle? We can do the work here. I can take the axle in for you too with the truck. If need be we can store it outside till the axle is finished. Weather will be good.
I understand the reason for the Metro, and if I could store a bunch of parts in it, I'd drive one for work too. I just want to see a 6' 8" guy drive one.
I totally agree with Tim, Was great to see everyone and meet new peeps!! Can't wait to hit the trails with everyone.
