So do you use your willys as an offroad vehicle or street runner? I have seen alot of wranglers that never hit the back roads/woods, and I have seen alot that stump jump in the woods. But what do we really use our willys for. Right now as I just bought my 04 last oct. I have only drove it to work and back, and drove it in the snow once, I still have the stock tires 215/75x15 on it. So for now its only a street runner, perhaps in the future that will change, but I still enjoy the fun factor in it either way. And yes I bought the willys as there are not that many around, so I don't look like a clone to all the other wranglers, it may not be collectable but sure brings alot of attention when I am out driving it....LOL

mostly as a dialy driver but i do alot of wheeling in it, lift, tires, winch, lights...it does some trails but also some light rocks as well.

trying to balance good road manners with an all around capable rig is difficult.

and i hate tearing stuff up.

I love this Jeep too much to beat it up. The 98TJ I had previously saw alot of abuse and there was definately a learning curve when it came to performance/offroad mods.

With the Willys I'm doing my best to keep it show quality and only modify thing that will really benefit the jeep without making it look over-accessorized. Added a D44 w/ disc brakes, 2.5" suspension lift, all new 1" lift poly body mounts, etc. This spring I'm repainting the corner guards to match the factory color, and trying a few engine upgrades to both add a bit of pep and clean things up (show'n'shine stuff).

I really love this Jeep and hope to keep it as a show/project vehicle for many many years to come.

Mine is a daily driver and my offroad baby. I know I'll never sell this so I'm going to do what I please with it. Right now I just got done installing a 3" suspension and 1.25 body lift. Just from last summer I already have some nicks, scratches, and a busted up passenger side fender. Kinda adds character

I live on a half mile dirt clay road in Arkansas. So between the weather, the rolling hills, and my 7 acres, my Willys gets a little of both. I keep it clean, but the 4 wheel drive gets used every winter and the top comes off in the spring and fall and summer. Door come off too sometimes. I like the door protection on the free ways and when I know its going to cool down on a night drive.
