hey guys (girls) :) nice to be in a girls group now. all the guys are always like, hey man, try this or that, even though my profile pic is meant to deter that whole thing of "you're on a jeep forum you must be a man" :)
Hello ladies! (Thanks for letting me in the group, Angel)! I'm new to the Jeep thing, but it has been something I wanted my whole life. Finally got one and now I just need to get out there and learn how to drive it.
I took it to Moad last month and Rockey Mountain National park this past weekend, but I haven't been able to do any "challenging" trails yet.
Do any of you girls live in Colorado? I'd love to hook up.
Glad to be part of the Jeep Girl group. Im sure it will keep growing. I am in Southern NH. Difinitely need to get out more with my Jeep.
Thanks for starting the group Angel!
Hi there! My name's Kara, I live in Tigard, OR. I drive a 98' TJ, and love it to death.
My boyfriend also drives a TJ, a few years newer than mine.
I'm Courtney, I just joined this group. Its great to know this is just a girl thing, since I felt every part of this forum was filled with only guys.
I have 1995 Green Jeep Wrangler Inline 6, a few mods here and there. Nothing too huge yet, but it soon will grow bigger.
I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Mic, live in SW FL (for now) and was delighted to see a girl's group here. I ride a motorcycle too and like that, Jeep drivers seem to be mostly guys. So I was happy to find you. :cheers2:
First of all, thanks for letting me in to the group, of course. Name's Shelley, currently in WeWa but moving down to Southern Oregon in a couple months and joining up with a wheeling group down there (I'm psyched). I've had my green '98 for 5 years but haven't done much with it until now.
Currently just trying to get enough money to do the mods I want to. I'm a little worried because I don't have much experience working on cars, but my boyfriend has rebuilt half of his '70 Cougar - so he better make himself useful.
And I know what you all mean by this place being overwhelmed by guys. Especially since so many of them seem to assume I'm male. Seriously, what self-respecting man uses the handle "smidgeon"?
And whatever happened to the get together idea? That'd be sweet; I'd totally fork over money for a plane ticket and time to help plan.
Hey Ladies and welcome to the new members!!!!!
I would love to plan a get together soon! For those of you who don't know, we just opened a tattoo shop a few months back, so I'm just trying to get everything situated before I can take any time off to do anything. It would be really great to meet all of you in person, and great knowing that I'm not the only one!
Congratulations on the new shop, that's exciting. (I keep meaning to go get my tattoo... And then I keep spending my money on other things... Like my Jeep...)
When you do get around to planning it let me know if I can do anything to help. (I have this issue where I love planning things.)
