Hi, I'm Cindi. Thanks for letting me join! I'm in Dayton, Ohio. New to the Jeep thing, but thrilled to finally get my 96' XJ. I'll be taking it out for the 1st time this Saturday with an Il./In. group (Jeeps Gone Wild). Maybe after seeing some others I'll figure out what kind of mods I want to start on. Glad to have some girls to ask questions to now!:2thumbsup:
Hi gals. Glad there is a forum for us girls! I don't post much--I'm a lurker. I am hoping to start doing some mods to my YJ in the near future but right now my goal is to just get her goin again. Her name is Christine :shhh:
Here's to flingin' mud, climbin' rocks, and good times.
Hey girls! Im Tina, I live in Mass. I have an 87 YJ that Im currently in the middle of doing a Spring Over conversion to. Right now its pretty stock, only a small lift and 31's. It should be completely done within the next few months. I cant wait! :2thumbsup:
Im not too new to jeep's or wheeling. I got into Jeeps about 6 years ago but I have always been a car and truck kinda girl. I have to say that I have never been so happy owning a vehicle until I bought my first Wrangler :)
Any one else from Mass out there? We should definitely set a meet up sometime if Im even local to anyone, LOL.
Hi everyone! Michele here...new to the jeep world but the desire has been there for years. I have to say I have only had my jeep for 2 weeks and I love it! Totally stock and I have to say I am impressed with what the other females on here know about jeeps! I have been inspired to do a little work on mine!
GF's!!!! Just giving a shoutout from San Diego. Unfortunately, I am not able to take my TJ out because I am one of the many unemployed people so I need to find work so that if I break something, I can get it fixed. My Jeep is my DD hence another reason why I need to be careful. Anyone in the 619 give a holler.:cheers2:
Hey everyone! Fairly new to the Jeep thing, very new to wheelin (can't wait to get out there!) but I definitely got bit by the bug HARD. lol I'm from NJ. So far, I haven't done any major mods. Mainly just fixing leaks, replacing hoses, sensors and fixing up the interior. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to wait a while before I get a lift (being unemployed sucks) but it's on the list of many mods to come.
Disheveledhair, I'm in the same boat. Looking for work as we speak. I miss taking the Jeep out but because it's my only vehicle, I can't take it offroad. Hope you find something soon.
Thanks! You too. I've been looking for a job for a couple months now and nothing. At this point, I'll take anything just to have some cash flowing in, you know? Anyway, good luck on the search.
Hello all! My name is Michele - I'm in SE Massachusetts, I've owned several Jeeps and try to do as much work to it myself as I can with the tools I own. Have owned my current 1997 TJ since 1999. To date I've installed a set of A to Z Rock sliders, new tires/wheels, an Olympic rock bumper in the rear, front tow hooks, a radiator, Borla ss tailpipe and muffler, serpentine belt, cb and ham radio, Alpine stereo, new replacement soft top, and Optima yellow top battery. I do all regular maintenance myself. The 2" lift/shocks and Borla SS header I had a friend do for me.
New to the group, but not new to Jeepin or this site. I run a ladies only section on the xlforum.net and know how helpful it is to have a place where women can feel comfortable posting questions and not get laughed at. Looking forward to hanging out time permitting. :cheers2:
That's cool that you are handy with tools Michelle. I know how to change a tire, the oil and the differential fluid. I'm not that mechanically inclined. I use to have a friend in the Marines here in town who had access to a hobby shop with all the tools anyone would need. I live in a duplex so there's no where to work on the Jeep because I don't have parking. I'm slow when it comes to working on the Jeep and would never get it back running for work. If I had two vehicles, I would stress about it, but the Jeep is my only vehicle for now. I like working on my Jeep but only when another Jeeper is with me. I try to give a shout out the Jeeper girls in my area, but alot of the ones here, don't take their Jeeps offroad.
