What axles did you end up going with Kev?

Yukon with Spicer 760 U joints.

I guess a truss won't be to far off in the future.

I was recently talking to brian at quigley and he was saying some of the spicer ujoints he was getting in were made in china. Thats why I did not go with them when I replaced mine plus I could not find any local sellers

Pretty sure the 5-760Xs are still made in the USA... At least that is what the box says. That's what is in the Yukons in the D30 now. Way back .... I bought a set of Alloy u-joints for the 30/44 axles for a pretty good deal. I think that is what I will start with in the new axle to see how they last. They say they are a little stronger than a spicer. You hear so much sht about bad experience this, bad experience that, these are better, no these are better. Think you just go with the best quality you can afford and what makes sense for what you're putting it in. That's not to say you go out and buy a pair of joints from your local flea market tho. "These wery good joints, you buy, you wike wery much!" But they say Spicey, not Spicer? "Ah they wery good mista, you buy joint. Just a mispwint!"

I have two sets of stub shafts to run in the 44, one Yukon, one Alloy. Everyone swears Alloys are the sht for 19 spline Ford stubs, so I will put them in the 44. If they fail, then maybe I will change to 30 spline stubs or just go all out and get some shafts from RCV Perfomance in waggy lengths.

Kev, I am ready to weld up that truss whenever she comes in. Don't forget the LCA mounts. This chick at the gym has a TJ on 35s. Her mounts are folded up probably 15 degrees. Not sure how she even gets the thing aligned like that, they are so tweaked. I can't imagine it is good for on-road ride.

You think those mounts are folded up just from running 35s, or do it appear she offroads the Jeep as well?

She's wheeled it once or twice up at Rausch she said - I asked if she knew they were folded and she was saying she did it out on Squazz Rocks. You may or may not recall, but she had it sitting in the infield at the York show. Dark Green with leopard seat covers. Not sure what lift it is - either BDS or RC long arm.
