I really like the white too. Been thinking about it, if I end up getting one, I think white is the way to go. I like the Inca Gold too. Besides the axles and tcase, what's the advantage of a rubicon? The inch taller lift and the rock rails wouldn't stay. I'd end up getting an auto and build the 231 with a wide chain, the big planetary, and put a rubicrawler in between the tcase and trans. 4.5 inch RE longarm. Full cage. I'd have to figure out what I'd do for armor. Probably fab some and buy some. If I didn't want an LJ, I could get a 4 banger and set myself up for a swap. Thinking Hemi or 5.3 Chevy. Maybe the all aluminum L33, but then I probably could not use the Rubicrawler and would have to get an Atlas.

Those fenders are sweet. I saw where they are doing a contest sort of thing where they are looking for people tom install them for free, and then review them and talk them up in the threads and such. I would love to do a set of these, but I have to make sure I can stay street legal if I do.

I like the Tomkens, I'd probably want to extend lower into the bottom of the fender into the would-be integrated rockers that you and I talked about last time we were up at RC. I don't know that I'd pay 1200 plus the 200 shipping they'd probably charge for the front and rear, so I'd probably get these : http://shop.trailheadoffroad.ihostne...productid=XJFS and buy the bender and die to build my own. That way, I'd have the bender for a cage or other builds or whoever wanted to use it for their rig. Probably end up costing less. Still think once you go Exo, you go away from DD/weekend warrior and get into trail only. Mine's not DD, it's more camping/trail, but if I had to drive it everyday, I still could as it sits now.

Yeah those Poison Spyder fenders are pretty sweet. I entered in for the chance to get a set for free. Im all about having a sweet DD/weekend warrior. Please dont get an LJ if u do get a wrangler though...their so stupid looking and awkward

No, I'd want an LJ. Lots more space and believe it or not, the LWB has it's advantages, that's why people set their axles front/back in the TJs. Course, I could comp cut a wrangler as long as I could keep it street legal. LJs look good well built.

I agree that a well built LJ has it's advantages. The 110" wheel base has about 1000lbs higher towing capacity then the 94" tj and more leg room and storage in the back but you loose some clearing over obstacles inbetween the tires (nothing a tt skid wouldn't take care of). I'd get the rubi model though. To your earlier question the other advantage with a rubicon other than the axles and 4:1 low 241 t-case is that you don't need an sye for the rear d-shaft.
