Fordyce will taco this buggies! recomend lots of other runs first then play with the big hills.

Where's the sense of adventure? Anyone interested in going? Sept 24-27 There's 3 other jeeps going and we all have winches.

We have left this thread go down the list for a while and I think its time we start talking and planning on future runs we would like to do. I have been thinking alot on where the jeep is and where I want to go with it both in its off-road capabilities and places it will go. I recently picked up an issue of Four Wheeler and on pg 76 with big letters the tittle read "Wine Country Wheeling". We have so much in CA that is off the pavement and doesnt require a highly modded 4x4 to access it and enjoy the great views. Just get out on a weekend and do a little wheeling on easy to moderate trails. Anyways the article talks about these great trails in the central valley, about 20mi east of San Luis Obispo (slo), called Pozo-La Panza and Rock Front. Both of these have great view and have trails for both stock to modded 4x4s.

This got me thinking that I need to start doing more exploring like those mentioned above and less of populated places like Rubicon. The Rubicon trail is amazing but I think I need to see something new and more relaxed. Pozo La Panza and the other is just one of the areas I will put on my list to visit for the 2011 season. For more current runs I would like to set up a snow run, and if anyone is interested CA4WDC is putting on a great event in the snow.

(CA4WDC is a great site, good to check it out often for news on our trails and how to keep them open.)
If the above doesnt work out I may go to Pismo in Mid January for MLK weekend. There is another club that goes there on that weekend every year and they have a great time.

I will be in Placerville for a few days over the Holidays and was wondering if anyone knows of anything close by where I can have fun offroading in snow for a few of hours.
