Winsheid Gasket Question

My husband noticed last week that the windshield gasket is folded in on one spot on the passenger side (mid way up the upright). Is it worth it to get this looked into? I haven't had any leaks (and we've had some real deluges since I've owned it).

That is not the windshied gasket- it is just trim molding. The windshield is glued in and does not use a "gasket"
