Window continuation sticker
Don't know the official name for the decal that's supposed to make it look like the window is continuous. However, it doesn't match the window, it matches the rear seat door handle and looks like sandpaper. The black compass' don't have it as the body color and the tinted glass match. So, the sandpaper sticker on my front passenger door is cracking and peeling off of my 2012 Compass, which I've had, just under a year. When I mentioned it to the service scheduling person, I had to take her to the showroom and show her what I was talking about. She didn't know if it was covered under warranty or not.
My dilemma is that I don't particularly like the sandpaper sticker. If I wanted to throw money at it, I'd see about having it replaced with something that matches the glass better to make the glass look continuous. If the dealer will fix it, should I have it fixed, or just peel it off? Has anyone else peeled it off? I'm not sure how it will look with more door frame showing.
