Wife got a 2009 Jeep Patriot

Hello Everyone!

Well we are now officially a full Jeep Family.

Picked up a 2009 Jeep Patriot Sport, but with alot of options. Got a Great deal on it, super clean 30k on it.

It has the sunroof and upgraded sound, also the leather wrapped steering wheel and alloys.

Trying to figure out what packages it has?

Also is the FD1 ok for the wife as a daily driver? hopefully she won't have to keep taking my 2012 Liberty! We live in Upstate NY and she drove a pontiac G6 prior... anyone have a wife with a patriot?

I don't have a wife with one, but when I bought mine my cousin said "Very nice! I know like 5 or 6 girls at work that drive one of those!". :-/

I bought one for my missus, but I drive it a lot too. FD1 is the standard awd system, no? Pretty idiot proof...just leave it alone until you get stuck. It will drive like a FWD car without the lock engaged, which makes for very safe and predictable handling, plus it's got traction and stability control.

Make sure you keep the sunroof drains open; these are notorious for leaks if they get clogged.
