Wierd Problem

2009 patriot, about two weeks ago driving down the interstate and caught a red light flash on intrument cluster out of the corner of my eye. Never saw it again until last night going up the mountain road and the red light came on and stayed on, about 5 seconds later the tire pressure moniter came on, both stayed on about 15 seconds then went out. A minute later same thing. This went on for about 5 minutes until I got home. Checked the owners manual and it says the red light is for the security system. Called the dealership and they didn't have a clue. Drove the 40 miles to work this morning and nothing. Any ideas ??

It could be a bad code was sent to the CAN buss but can you get a fault code reading at a local parts store or somewhere? That's usually done for free and I can trace it back better with the code. It may be a module going bad.
