"Whirring" rotational sound from tire/axle area...

Hey everyone.

My 2014 is at 15,300 miles. About 1,000 or 1,500 miles back, I started hearing what I can only describe as a deep "whirring" sound from one of the rear tire/axle areas. It "whirs" with the rotation of the tire/axle -- so that the faster I'm driving, the faster the sound is.

I don't hear it coming from any other tire/axle. It sounds like louder-than-usual road noise much of the time, until I hit certain speeds and can make out the rotational "whirring" sound.

Before I drop it off with Jeep tomorrow, any ideas what this could be? I'd like to have some ideas in case they try to BS me.

Turns out it's the tire. Dealer moved the tires around when they started to suspect it, and when they moved it the sound moved with it. Now I have to talk to Firestone...
