I loved the rodeo-It was a tank. The final straw was a blown headgasket at 160k miles.

They are Keystone wheels from Wheels & Caps.com. They advertise them as the original supplier to Jeep ! I can tell you first hand that they have the same casting #'s. Oh well, at least they are not made in china..............There is another post by me on this forum on the specifics.

Actually, mine wasn't awful...I traded in my Grand Cherokee. Two reasons mainly, I drive so much I was close to 200K, and I drive so much the fuel was killing me. I love my Patriot's mileage and many other things, but I loved my GC for a lot of reasons also.

Edited to add: I also have to mention that my Patriot (With GY Forterra Tripletreds on it) chows through the snow better than my GC ever did.

2001 Ford Focus...it was a good little car...but I hated driving in the snow and bad weather (heavy rain) with it. I feel much safer and in control with the Compass.

You'll love it in the snow. I drove my Patriot (they're basically the same) through our first snow of the season, and LOVED it! It just plows through-it's awesome. I feel very secure in mine too. When we test drove it, I told the salesman that it "drove big" for lack of a better adjective. It really does. At highway speeds it feels more stable than the '05 X-terra I traded for it.

Misty is one of our original crew. We had a good laugh last year when we were talking about how we just finished cleaning out the drive ways and then the snow plows came along and left a big pile down at the bottom. We both just drove threw them . Within about 2 or 3 weeks they released a Jeep commercial showing the same solution!

Misty's sister liked it enough that she went out a bought a Patriot. Now there's an MK family! Pictures are in the Patriot Owners thread.

a 03 mini cooper s for Compass CRD 4x4 limited...hardly to do but i need more space...mini was really amazing but comapass it's big enough to keep my family comfortable in my car and my GSXR in box .....

Traded in my 1991 Dakota..... Was a great truck 175,000 miles and no major repairs, just plain wore out.
