Torque for bolts that attach the rotor to the compass

Does anyone know the torque for the 2 bolts that attach the caliper/caliper bracket to the compass? Not the guide pin bolts (I found those in the brake job posting), but nothing covered the bolts that attach the rotor to the compass/caliper. Thanks.

This may be what you're looking for?

Install the mounting bolts securing the caliper adapter bracket to the knuckle. Tighten the bolts to 108 N·m (80 ft. lbs.).

Thanks Gramps!! I knew you would chime in! I also found it on the autozone website (they include free service manuals if you register)!

Are they aftermarket manuals, I assume? The factory ones are spendy but always have the best info. Still it's good to have them available!

They break it down by category, like copy and paste. Not sure where they get the info, but it is handy!!!

I have the factory repair/service manual for my Jeep Compass. I have it on the DVD and can play it on my laptop. I can then take my laptop to the garage with me. I think there is a paper version of the manual. Usually they are much more expensive. My DVD was I think 69.95. It the Diamler/Chrysler factory manual. It's for my 2007 Jeep Compass which was Diamler/Chrysler then.
Anyways I feel that if that manual saves you just one hour labor over it's life by allowing you to do a repair at home and avoid going to the dealer for the repair. It has paid for itself.

I haven't seen the latest version but the one for the '07 also includes right hand drive, diesel and alternate wiring for exports. There is a link at Jeep.com that you can review for Owners Manuals (free download) and Service Manuals (to purchase)

The early Diesel was the same as the VW Jetta.. Is the 2012? Something we could look into.

Apparently the 2012 diesels are made by mercedes. I will do some research and see if I can find out if they are a generic merc engine or if they are a special build for jeep
