Tire size dummy here

I want to put either 235 60 17 or 235 65 17 on my now lifted Compass. My question is will these fit on the stock 17 inch rims? Vehicle is a 2011 Compass. I'm dumb when it comes to metric tire sizes vs rim size. Thanks!!

Yup those will work fine. The rim width is what will make it fit or not in this case and all rims rims have quite a bit of leeway for the size of tire they will handle.

Thanks Gramps, I wasn't sure if the width had to down to the mm or not! I do think Jeep should have had the Compass and Patriot at this ride height from the factory. Oh well then we wouldn't have as much fun modding them. . Now if i could get 31" like the true north....

you will need to get spacers, to push them out a bit, otherwise they'll more than likely rub.
