Steering Wheel Audio Control malfunction

With all of the Radio Threads there are, this one hasn't been hit on yet .

The left switch that controls the next/previous track and CD selection started acting up during this past month. The upper button for "Next" would start the song over or go to the previous track; the lower button would turn the volume up; and the center button would go to the next track.

Service verified it and it's a bad switch, the dealer has order in a replacement.

It did take 20K for mine to show up as "bad" and it's probably a fluke. I've got so many buttons to play with now that I forget what some of them are supposed to do. My brain is full!.

Depending on the weather, my volume controls act up. If it's too cold out, the controls either dont cooperate or do the opposite of what I tell it to. Works fine now that it's summer and I've been putting it off but I'm gonna make the dealer change it on my next oil change.

I wrote mine off as being caused by either humidity or temp change, too. My dealer didn't have it in stock. Is yours just the left side, too?

I have had some problems with my audio controls on the steering wheel too. however, mine are on both sides. Most of the time, I will try to adjust the volume and nothing will happen. I just went to college so I need to find a jeep dealership to fix. I have a Compass Limited which I got in December. It only has 8200 miles so I was hoping the parts would last a little longer.
