STARTECH SD3 tuning kit for the Compass CRD

Hello

"The STARTECH SD3 tuning kit for the Compass turbodiesel model can be installed by any authorized Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealer in less than 30 minutes. It unleashes the true power inherent in the two-liter diesel engine. The additional 40 hp (39 bhp) / 29.4 kW and the enormous torque that's already available between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm, are the result of an auxiliary control module that governs the engine electronics. Has anyone an experience with that?

Regards,
Urr

I'm more interested of the item number (if there is one) and the approximate price.

And also, the result --- more power, more torque, but more MPG also?
Can I feel the difference or is the influence minimal (i.e. I just know that I have more power)?

Does it affect warranty? As it is made by StarTech and can be installed by any authorized dealer, it shouldn't...

Hi
In the UK any jeep dealer can fit it and it doesn’t affect your warranty. US I am told doesn’t back this so could affect your warranty. Part number is KSPX0110003 at around 940 in the UK. Power can’t tell you as I have not driven one yet put if by the GCherokee standards you will feel the power and depending on how you drive it more MPG so most of my customer have said but you should be getting over 40 MPG now so don’t expect too bigger increase on that.
Regards,
Merlin

Also - since the CRD isn't offered in the US - it's really not an option here...
