Thanks Urr! It looks like drivers ability overcomes not having FD II! :D You did have me wondering why you stopped in the middle of that streem in #2, I guess you knew what the creek bed was, rocks not mud?

Right, solid rocks. Possible problem was only not to get up onto the bank again, (but as you saw, no problem there with proper tyres).

Not that we have the same tires available to us over here but what are you running? Those are the "winter 215/65R16" tires right?

To show that:
- it was not that easy as it seemed
- a central locking (Opel did not have any locking) and proper tyres do make a difference

Tires do make all the difference! Those are only 27.2" tall and with the studs, which many here in N.A. don't run, did the job. You have helped to prove something that I have tried to stress MANY time, buy tires for the tread, not the height! Unless you're going for looks and not capabilities.
