sisters Patriot

Ok to start with I have not been on this board for a long time and it is kind of nice to be back on (i miss my old YJ)

Anyways why I am here.

My sis has an 07 Jeep Patriot and she is coming up to visit for a week and she had a check engine light come on and since i am the family mechanic she wants me to look at it.

she did stop by Autozone and he ran the code and it came up with Air Intake Sensor.

Any ideas? I do not have the actual code number yet. But I am really not sure if this is just something where I should just replace the sensor or if i should try to clean it or what.

I really don't want to spend the entire week my nieces are visiting under the hood of her car so i am trying to head this off at the pass.

Buy electrical cleaner, remove it and spray it. Super easy to get to (on most cars). Havent looked on ours.
