Just not sure who's or what Safari Bar you're talking about. Any links to it?

As I understand it, A Safari bar is a bumper mounted light bar. Many Rallye cars use them.

This one is made by Westin.

I'm curious about it also, I'd love to put one on my compass.

Thanks for the education! When I see "safari" I think roof rack not brush or bumper guards. Is the only attach point for these way back under the fascia and closeout? It just seems like it would fold up if anything major got in the way.

Can someone do a photoshop to see what it looks like?

Oh Yes,

Black would definitely be better. Especially on a Sport model lacking the Chrome Eye Candy

Good things have many names.
Here they are called kangaroo bars, although we have no kangaroos here in Estonia

hey guys, sorry for the confusion....I call that style bar safari bar becuase that was the way I was able to locate it on the web.

the westin bar is actually the exact unit I was talking about. The photoshop picture isnt working, so I cannot see it. If you could get that working, I'd appreciate it.

and becuase my patriot is a limited and silver, id be going with the chrome one for that bling factor. The bar is obviously for looks only, and for the nice driving lights I could attach too.
