Round 2 - Trans Overheating

Unfortunately & as anticipated, my transmission has overheated again. (see prior posts) The vehicle is used mostly for interstate driving. Got an appt tomorrow AM. Let's see what Jeep will do this time.

The service dept couldn't find anything wrong with the trans. Now I nervously await the next episode.

Round 3. Happened again. Got hold of dealer & Chrysler/Jeep in Detroit. Car was in the shop 3 days & they finally decided to replace the Transmission Cooler Bypass Valve. I had to pay $200 for new transmission fluid & that was all. We will see how long this lasts. No other problems with the car.

****ty to pay for the fluid, warranty states that's covered if it was necessary to repair or diagnose the problem.
