Do I have to change the air conditioning filter every 12k miles to keep warranty?Jeep Compass 2008
I dunno what your book says, but my Caliber '07 was every 30k I think. It still works fine, only changed it once at 38.5k miles thus far. edit: Just saw you said A/C filter, dunno if its like my Cali, but we only get the cabin air filter if we get the security package too. I know it said in my book to change the cabin air filter at 30k as well.

It won't affect the warranty, it's an optional filter that comes with the Security System and is not installed in all models. The space is there for anybody who wants to put one in. Remove the glove compartment door and you'll find the cover for it.
