Remote Starter

I've already checked this forum but my specific question hasn't been answered.

We had a Remote Starter installed on a Jeep Compass 2009 today but no manual was left behind.

We were shown how to start the vehicle with 3 presses on the start button. On our other (not a Jeep) aftermarket starter we could delay start the vehicle automatically every x hours and wondered if there was a function like this on this remote.

The parts which were installed were the ADSALCA and the ADSHRNCH5

Thanks for any help

If it's the factory remote start then you can only turn it on. It will stay on for 15 minutes. The presses will also turn it off after you start it.

Thanks for the quick reply LKW.

You're absolutely right (as I found out after I posted the question here).
Wow, that's kinda cheap for a brand like Jeep. A cheapo remote we had installed on another vehicle could start the vehicle at hourly intervals and open the trunk even.

Again, thanks for the reply.

No problem!

Maybe a aftermarket remote start could? Jeep didn't really go all out on the specs for the Patriot and Compass. Maybe on the GC it's different.

The MK's didn't get the top of the line packages. I just found out yesterday that my wife's '06 GC has auto on/speed and rain sensitive wipers that aren't available on the MK's.

This also is a non-Mopar (not a Jeep) aftermarket starter, isn't it?
