judging by the roof line, this is DEFINITELY a Compass. i think it looks great.

i wonder if the Patriot will look the same (as they are IDENTICAL now) or if the Patriot will have it's own design. guess we'll see.....and soon!

Wow, that looks pretty slick. I really like the redesigned dash. Hopefully, they'll make a few other improvements, like actually putting a light in each of the power window controls for the driver. It would also be nice if they used a softer plastic for places where an elbow would likely be leaning.

I heard they were going to drop the whole iPod holder in the center console. I think the iPod holder was a good idea, it was just poorly implemented.

Does anyone know if there is any reason why the in-dash cooler (I can't remember the name) that's offered in the Caliber isn't on the Jeep models? Is there any actual design reason or was it just preference?

2007 Patriot 4x4 Ltd. FDII

I like the softer lines - gives it more of a European look.

From Autoblog.com...

2009 Patriots are showing up on dealer lots, with new interiors! Looks great! It is a big improvement, but I am still not sure if it is as nice as the interiors in the Saturn VUE, Chevy Equinox, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, or Hyundai Santa Fe (Patriot's size class and price competition).

That does look a bit nicer. I've always favored that style of vent too. The ones in my Compass always feel like they're going to snap one day. The chrome strip above the glove box with the logo near by is a nice touch too.

Not bad looking at all! I saw the interior in the Pat and did not like it as much but that picture looks really good...

I don't like how round everything is now - compared to the boxy exterior of the Pat

just wait a couple months for that inexpierenced teen driver to get a new MK and total it out...

not a big fan of the round air vents or the chrome. but the padded arm rest is mighty nice.

Saw the 09 Patriot on a dealer lot. Didn't like the new "European" dash. They got ride of the plastic trunk liner too. Didn't really look too closely after knowing I want to buy an 08.

I'm currently looking to purchase a Patriot for my wife. I actually prefer everything about the 08 interior except for the new padded armrest.

Trust me, after road trips in my Cali, you WANT a padded armrest after a few hours. The hard plastic isn't too forgiving...
