Found one for sale says it came out of a 2010 charger. Anyone know if this will work?

What matters the most on these newer Chrysler brand vehicles is whether or not you have a high speed or low speed CANBUS system. You can't interchange them. So you need to know which version of the RBZ you got; high or low speed. You also need to know which CANBUS speed your vehicle needs and you need to get the correct one for it.

This is the Compass/Patriot forum but it says Liberty under your username? What is your vehicle? The Compass and Patriot use a low speed CANBUS system. The Liberty uses a High Speed CANBUS system. The 2010 Charger uses a low speed CANBUS so it would work in a Patriot or Compass but it won't work if you have a Liberty.

If you get the correct CANBUS speed model for your vehicle it is basically plug and play. If you add a backup camera you will need a dealer flash to activate it. UConnect will work as long as you get the required harnesses and modules( may require dealer flash ). The startup logo should swap over to Jeep after a few start cycles but if not the dealer can get it to swap with a scan tool

"USUALLY!" Not always however. Some of them are stubborn and the dealer has to hook it up to the scan tool and associate the head unit with the vin for it to happen.
