Peripherals CHYAH05

I want to put an Alpine IDA-X001 in my compass. So far I have the NAV bezel and the METRA 99-6510 kit to fit the stereo. The only thing I am having problems with is the wiring harness. Will the Peripherals CHYAH05 work with a HU without navigation features? If not does anyone know of a wiring harness that will work? I really don't want to splice the factory wiring and make my install permanent.

The way that I read this is that it's an "and/or" for the Nav/Radio installation.

Have you seen this? Let us know if that gives you the info that you're looking for.
