Hello to everyone. I'm from Greece and a few days ago I just bought a MK Patriot 2.0 CRD Limited edition with the jeep green metallic color. I hope I'll will get in my hands in the next days so I could start driving it to the places I love a lot which are mostly off road.
But before that I'm inllok to see what I'm going to do with the tires and the suspensions so I could give some more high to my MK. I will hope to find a lot of help in here and here suggestions from everybody that have the same jeep with me.

I'm now a proud owner of an '07 Patriot Sport (only 18K miles). I needed a new daily driver with our first child due in March. (My ZJ is becoming less and less of a DD.) I looked at the Toyota Matrix, Mazda 3 hatchback, Audi and Subaru wagons ($$$) and the Compass. The Patriot fit the bill perfectly with lots of interior room, AWD, lots of modern safety features, good mileage and and a "Jeep" badge.

My Patriot has most of the options I wanted: 5-speed, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tinted windows, 17" alloys, YES seats, cruise control, and fog lights. A couple thing it doesn't have that would have been nice: tow hooks, skid plates, oh sunroof and heated leather seats too . Did Jeep offer a heated/defrost mirror option? One last thing, I can't figure out why my Pat has a "trail rated" badge even though it doesn't have the FDII (CVTL) set up.

Nice Jeeps - my guess is the dealership slapped Trail Rated badges on it to help sell it

Heated mirrors were for export only. Nice looking rigs. I think the badges are about $30 a pop or free if you know someone.

Poor quality cell phone picture, but it will have to do since we have so few pictures of Patriots here.



This was taken last summer in Lapland at our base camp, a good half a kilometer from the nearest road. The trail that led here was very easy but it was still nice to have a four wheel drive for the softer spots (terrain over there is sand, sand and some more sand) and the last climb. Spent 11 nights in a tent in that spot, touring around the area with the Patriot by day. Great fun! Drove some 3600km in two weeks during that trip.
