Patriot Fan Blower Resistor Bypass?

Hi...my wife's 2010 Patriot fan stopped working. Last week, only speeds 1 and 4 worked. Today, no speeds work. I assume it's the fan blower resistor since I've replaced countless units in my Jeeps

I've ordered the part but it won't get here for another 3-4 days. This part is not available thru A.Z., so I got stuck going through the dealer.

Is there anything I can do to bypass the resistor? Pics would be appreciated. It's cold in Chicagoland. And so is my wife, literally and figuratively

Thanks.

Usually you get stuck with the fan wide-open or off. Could be a switch issue.

I don't think it's the switch; I've read others saying same thing happened where all of a sudden none of the speeds worked. I won't know until I get the replacement part in. I know nothing about volts and ohms, so I'm gonna chance this one.
