Patriot bumper facia bright panel

Can anyone tell me what the bright (metal?) panel on the Patriot limited front and rear bumpers is made from and is it available at dealers. We dont seem to have them fitted to our UK Spec. limited CRD or Petrol, it looks much more finished with it on darker colours.

Ian

The "silver" bumper is simply plastic... personally I think it looks a little funny on the front end.

Thank you, I have now also discovered that the UK Patriot has a different style of front bumper that is deeper than the US item, it also has another row of air intakes just below the top edge - our number plates are longer than US ones and front is manditatory

I am a little disapointed as there is nothing to tell externally between Sport and Limited specifications except body colour side strips
Picture shown is UK Spec. 2.0 CRD, the 17" Alloys are standard on our Sport, as is roof mounted radio antenna.

meh... im up in the air as to whether or not I even like the silver on my front bumper. On one hand I like how it stands out, but I prefer the smooth blend of a single color front end.
