Patriot

I'm a 23 year old about to get of pharmacy school and want a Jeep Patriot 2012 FD 1 with 5 speed manual. Not a big off roader but want something that can handle going into the woods for hunting also, I'm planning on buying 17' center consul boat and want to make sure it could tow this. Any suggestions?

Here are some examples of the Patriots towing capacity. How much does the boat weigh?

I'm not really sure what dry weight means but 1,300 lbs boat. I'm sure that does not include trail or engine.

the patriot has a tow capacity of 2k lbs if you get the engine cooler, not including the weight of what's in the car. you'd be pushing its limits. where are you from?
