Patriot 09 Sirius

I got a new Patriot 09 North Edition and I love it. The model I got didn't come with Sirius so I am looking at buying the hardware myself. Has anyone installed the one that comes from the sirius web site or do I have to call the dealer and get them to install the default one for Jeep?

I had the dealer install the factory setup in my 08. Pricey, but it's really nice having it integrated into the factory head unit.

Unless your really into Satellite radio, I wouldn't bother. I let my subscription run out and never have missed it. If you really want it , get XM at least then you can get NHL hockey games on it. As far as I know Sirrius and XM are still separate companies in Canada

Satellite radio is the best investment I ever made. I've had it for over 4 years and would not give it up.

Sweet. I'll prolly get a XM portable radio with a car kit and wireless FM transmitter. Should be easy to install.
