Painting brake calipers??

I think they look good in red (like the brembo's) ... but thinking maybe black on this vehicle, maybe blue - hmmmm?? I just don't like the plain look, especially with the wheels I have on the Compass.

The Calipers are a casting and can get surface rust rather quickly, ANYTHING is better than that even clear coat! Paint them your body color or something to compliment or contrast with it. Basic black is always a safe choice. Painting your engine cover can be a nice dress up too.

Is that black with white stripes or white with black stripes

I leaning very much to the red side .... but not 100% set yet.

Black with white stripes Seriously. Can't go wrong with red, it always looks good.

yeah - as much as I hate red cars - I've been thinking of painting the calipers and the engine cover (also pondering Jeep green as well)
