Offroad Adventure in Compass at Bear Valley

Ok, so this is the first time I have ever driven off road like this. The trail was pretty crazy looking from inside the Jeep. My buddy had to get out to guide me over some rack and stuff, also to take pictures. We also got saved by a couple guys in a wranger who followed up back out incase we got stuck. They also guided me over the hardest stuff. Here's some pics and a link to a video. Had to go back up the same way I went down in the video ... pretty impressed with the Compass.

And now some pics

It was a really fun time .... The Compass is a REAL JEEP!!!!!

Very nice! Glad to see a Compass on the trails, too.

I notice from your profile that you don't have a lift kit yet. Any trail damage from the rocks?

It has been a while since I've been on here. I actually have the Rocky Road lift kit installed. I better update my profile. I want to get rock rails and some skid plates .... but no damage from rocks .... yet.

I do have a clunking noise coming from the front of the Jeep. I know I jacked something up when I had to climb back up out of there. Oh well, I am sure it is not the first Jeep to break something offroading, and won't be the last. Gonna take it to the dealership tomorrow (after washing it) and see what they say. Hopefully I get no grief for the lift kit, keep your fingers crossed for me

I'm thinking of getting a Rocky Road lift kit. I see you have 245/65/17's do they rub any. Did you have to use wheel spacers or anything.

I have Yokohama geolander AT-S 225/70R/17 tires and they rub a little bit when the wheel is fully turned but no big deal. I just back off a little bit when I turn the wheel fully to one side or the other. And I do have the RRO lift.
