New wheels tires on the way for wife's Patriot

As there is only one tire available for the OEM 16" steel wheel and multiple options for a 17" wheel I opted for upgrading the wheels and tires on my wife's Patriot.
FWD, and never going off road so I went with the Michelin Hydroedge and a set of nice black 5 spoke alloy wheels.
The OEM tires are just too noisy on the highway and I wanted to get her one of the best tires for wet traction too.

Pics of the wheels and tire choice.

Funny thing is, my wife didn't want any of the higher spoke count wheels because she said they looked hard to clean.
I'll have 4 stock wheels with tires and TPMS still mounted to put on the FS section this weekend.

Btw, the dealer price for the TPMS valve is $92. Discount tire has the same thing for $58. I got new oves for the new wheels so I could have them shipped already mounted and balanced. Between the free shopping, free mount and balance, and no sales tax, the TPMS ended not having a real cost compared to getting the wheels and tires local.

You can always take the TPMS out of the old rims and not have to buy new ones.

Easier to do it this way. It would cost $40 per tire mount and balance plus $20 for moving the TPMS.
This way I get them shipped to me mounted and balanced for less than going to a local discount tire even with the new TPMS.
Doesn't cost any more either.
And I can sell 4 complete tires/wheel/TMPS when I take the OEM set off.
And the best part, not a dime in state tax.

Just mounted the new wheels and took it for a drive.
What a difference. I wasn't surprised by the quieter ride.
Much smoother on the highway.
However I was surprised that the sensation of understeer on highway ramps is gone. Handling is very much improved.
The kids love the look of the new wheels. Too dark out for pictures.

Discount Tire included a set of Gorilla splined lug nuts. I didn't expect that.
